A spacious twin bedded room (90cm), seating and TV+DVD corner.The en suite bathroom is equiped with bathtub, shower and towel heater with a separate WC.
One window overlooks the enclosed garden, the other over the old village road.

Born Marie-Josèphe Rose Tascher de la Pagerie, Joséphine de Beauharnais had spent her childhood in Martinique in a French Creole family who were planters, before coming to the Metropole in order to get married to the Vicomte de Beauharnais in 1779. From this union were born two children, Eugène and Hortense. Napoleon Bonaparte adopted them by marrying Marie-Josèphe Rose named Josephine after their wedding in 1796. A few months later, Bonaparte was appointed General in Chief of the Army of Italy, with the help of his wife. Joséphine became Empress in 1804, and will not be able to give children to Napoleon . Despite his love for her, she will be repudiated in 1809 in the name of reason of State . Josephine died in his castle of Malmaison in Rueil May 29 1814. Napoleon had just abdicated…
